Sigrún Hauksdóttir

Sigrún Hauksdóttir has a work experience in various positions. Sigrún started working at Kaupthing Bank in 2002 as a Specialist in Pension Funds and held this position until 2004. From 2004 to 2007, they worked at Verdis as a Quality Manager. Sigrún then became the Director of Funds Department at Verdis from 2007 to 2008. In 2008, Sigrún joined Arion Bank as a Project Manager and stayed in this role until 2012. From 2013 onwards, they have been working at Arion Bank as the Head of Pension Fund Operation Management and Services.

Sigrún Hauksdóttir began their education in 1993 at Verzlunarskóli Íslands, where they studied but did not receive a degree. Sigrún then attended Háskóli Íslands from 1999 to 2002 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration. In 2010, Sigrún pursued a Master's degree in Project Management at Reykjavik University, which they completed in 2012. In the same year, they also studied Management and Strategy at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Additionally, in 2011, they obtained an IPMA Level D certification from IPMA.
