Horacio Lau

Horacio Lau possesses extensive experience in automation engineering and process control systems management, currently serving as the Department Manager for Automation Engineering at Arion since October 2022. Previously, Lau held multiple positions at IHI E&C International Corporation from May 2013, including Process Control Systems Department Manager, where responsibilities included oversight of project execution, quality assurance, and departmental governance. Lau also functioned as Technical Manager, focusing on electrical engineering and design, and managed budgets and schedules for significant projects such as the Operator Training Simulator for Cove Point LNG. Prior roles include Project Engineering Manager at Aker Solutions, providing engineering leadership for PEMEX Refining, and Engineer III at Litwin, contributing to refinery projects throughout the US and Latin America. Lau holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Engineering Management from The University of Texas at Austin.
