One of the most historic Sports Clubs in Greece, founded in 1914, having 24 sports and over 2.600 children across all the academies. Nickname: The God of War Founded: 25 March 1914 Colors: Yellow and black Home: Kleanthis Vikelidis Stadium History: On the 25th of March 1914, shortly after the liberation of Thessaloniki, in a cafeteria in the area of "Admiral Votsis", an eminent club that was consisted of courageous and visionary young people of the time decided to make its own personal "revolution". In a special day for the Hellenic history and the Greek Orthodoxy, ARIS was founded. The name is derived from ancient Greek mythology, the God of War, Power and Courage, a synonym of bravery and valor. An enormous Club that over the years has written its own unique History. A Club that is loved and worshiped by thousands of people and made ARIS more than a just a sports club.
