Destiny Bourgeois, M.Ed, LPC, currently serves as an Evening IOP Therapist at Meadows Behavioral Healthcare since May 2023. Previously, Destiny worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor at the Houston Galveston Institute from October 2021 to May 2023 and as a Registered Behavioral Technician at both Positive Behavior Supports Corp. and BlueSprig from June 2020 to June 2020. As a Registered Behavioral Technician, learning opportunities were provided for children and adolescents diagnosed with autism. Destiny began a career in mental health as a Health and Education Program Specialist Intern for Mothers Against Drunk Driving in early 2015, coordinating events and delivering presentations on drunk driving prevention. Destiny holds a Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University and two Bachelor’s Degrees in Community Health and Preventive Medicine from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
