Adebayo Awosemo

Adebayo Awosemo is an accomplished media and public affairs professional with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as Deputy Managing Director and Managing Editor at ARISE News since August 2017, Adebayo previously held the position of CEO at Comfort & Gold Nigeria Limited from January 2014 to July 2018. Adebayo's earlier experience includes managerial roles at Addax Petroleum from April 2006 to August 2012, focusing on external and government affairs, as well as media and public relations. Adebayo's career in broadcasting includes a prominent tenure at the Nigerian Television Authority from November 1978 to March 2006, where responsibilities included managing the Current Affairs Unit and serving as a producer for several notable programs. Academically, Adebayo holds a Master's degree in Public & International Affairs from the University of Lagos and a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Ibadan.
