Tyson Lamoreaux leads Arista’s AI and cloud networking initiatives and is responsible for the technical, engineering and customer success of Arista's hyperscale customers often referred to as cloud and AI titans. With more than 25 years of experience, Tyson brings a unique blend of builder and operator skills to Arista.
Tyson’s expertise in distributed systems, spanning both entrepreneurial and massive-scale ventures, has been a hallmark of his career. He built the first and one of the largest cloud networks for AWS, where he was responsible for Amazon’s global network. Most recently, Tyson was the EVP and Head of Connectivity for a stealth AI start-up pioneering one of the first AI networks at scale. He also led the creation of the network, software systems and ground infrastructure for Amazon’s Low Earth Orbit (LEO) broadband satellite constellation named Project Kuiper.
Tyson holds several patents related to high performance and at-scale networking and has built and operated dozens of data centers supporting cloud and AI workloads around the world.
