Michael Truong has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2010 as a Logistics Officer in the United States Marine Corps. Michael served in this role both in the Reserve Component and on active duty, leading teams and providing logistical support for global operations. In 2014, they joined Deloitte Consulting as an Organization Transformation Lead, where they focused on shaping and delivering strategic transformations for large complex organizations. Michael then worked at MGM Resorts International as the Director of Strategy, supporting the development of the company's corporate strategy and leading cross-functional teams to meet business objectives. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Global Strategy & Transformation at Aristocrat since 2020.
Michael Truong has a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree with a focus on Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from Santa Clara University School of Law. Michael also has a certification in Certified Post Merger Integration (CPMI) from the Institute for Mergers, Acquisitions and Alliances (IMAA), specializing in M&A Process and Post-merger Integration. Prior to their legal education, Michael Truong attended The Basic School at the United States Marine Corps, where they studied Platoon Leadership. Michael completed their undergraduate studies at UCLA, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications in leadership and organizational change from LinkedIn.
