Richard Harris

Dr. Richard Harris has been an Arize member for over 30 years. He has served on the Arize Board of Directors since May 2014 and is currently its chair. Before joining the board, he served for eight years on the Arize supervisory committee and chaired that committee for four years. Dr. Harris retired after over 37 years of service with Raytheon and its predecessors, where he held positions in systems engineering, program management, and business area management. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from Wichita State University and MS and Ph.D. degrees in mathematics from New Mexico State University. After retirement, he was a mathematics instructor at Penn State University for four years. He currently volunteers with Centre Volunteers in Medicine and the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and has served as a Sunday school teacher at Mt. Nittany United Methodist Church for over 20 years. He resides in Centre County.

Arize is a not-for-profit voluntary financial cooperative located in State College, PA. We are owned by our members and governed by those members through an elected, volunteer Board of Directors. Anyone who lives, works, worships, attends school, or volunteers in Centre or Huntingdon Counties is eligible to belong the Credit Union.
