Kellie Malone Yee has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Kellie started their career as an Assistant Editor at Gonzaga University's Charter Journal of Scholarly Opinion in 2012. From there, they gained experience as an Intern in Product Analysis at Next IT and as a Contributing Writer at Florence is You Newspaper.

In 2013, Kellie joined Nonfiction Unlimited as an Office/Set Production Assistant, Runner, and Intern, which they did for two separate periods. Kellie also worked as a Copywriting Intern at Telect during this time, where they wrote press releases, emails, advertisements, and website content.

Kellie returned to Nonfiction Unlimited in 2014 as an Assistant to Executives. Kellie then worked as a Fiction Editor at Gonzaga's Reflection Journal before joining Nonfiction Unlimited once again as an Assistant to Executives.
