Spencer Lee

Spencer Lee has a diverse work experience. Spencer started working as a Grants Coordinator and Program Assistant at Fred Hutch in 2008, where they managed grant submissions, conducted research, and coauthored a paper. In 2019, they had internships at WNYC Radio, where they wrote news copy for radio broadcast and conducted interviews, and at Skift, where they managed social media feeds and wrote news articles. From 2018 to 2021, Spencer worked as a Freelance Journalist, covering various topics for publications such as Straus News and Times of Entrepreneurship. Spencer is currently working as a Reporter at National Mortgage News since 2021.

Spencer Lee pursued a Bachelor's degree in Russian at the University of Washington. Following this, Spencer attended the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, where they obtained a Master's degree in Journalism between the years 2018 and 2019.
