Robert J. Herbold

Gov. Doug Ducey appointed Regent Robert J. Herbold to the Arizona Board of Regents on July 19, 2021. He currently serves as a member of the Finance, Capital and Resources Committee, Audit Committee, and Academic Affairs and Educational Attainment Committee.

Regent Herbold brings to the board dedication to higher education and experience in business, finance, and strategic operations. He is the managing director of The Herbold Group, LLC, operations and strategy consulting business. He is also president of The Herbold Foundation, which provides scholarships to masters and doctoral students in engineering and computer science at several universities.
