Sam Marks has over three years of experience in strategy and analytics, with a focus on the media, entertainment, and sports industries. Sam is currently the Director of Strategy & Analytics at the Arizona Coyotes, where they oversee various workstreams and projects across the organization. Prior to their current role, Sam served as the Director of Strategy and Business Development at VaynerTalent, where they were responsible for designing and implementing self-updating dashboards and turnkey solutions for both external client service and internal operations processes. Sam also recruited and managed a team of direct reports responsible for servicing a multimillion-dollar talent representation client book of business. Prior to their time at VaynerTalent, Sam served as the Director of Strategy at Mylance, where they were responsible for overseeing the company's corporate strategy and data. Sam also interned at the National Football League (NFL) in their Business Strategy and Analytics department.
Sam Marks completed a Bachelor of Science at Duke University, majoring in Chemistry and Economics. They then undertook a Master of Business Administration at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, specializing in Decision Science and Strategy. During their studies, they also completed a summer semester at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), studying Economics. After completing their MBA, Sam Marks undertook an Environmental Chemistry Independent Study at Duke University Marine Laboratory.
