Rick Klauer

Rick Klauer is an experienced aviation professional currently serving as a Pilot at the Arizona Department of Public Safety since October 2022. Prior to this role, Rick worked at AAR from June 2020 to August 2022 as a Maintenance Test Pilot Evaluator and Standardization Pilot, and had an extensive tenure in the Arizona Army National Guard from December 2007 to July 2018, also as a Standardization Pilot and Maintenance Test Pilot. Rick's career includes roles in management and education, notably as a Supply Chain Manager at Honeywell and as a Compliance Officer at BMC. Earlier experience in the US Navy included positions as a Quality Assurance Officer and Student Naval Aviator. Rick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Oceanography, Chemical and Physical from the United States Naval Academy, where studies were completed from 1992 to 1996.
