Doug Pacey has extensive experience in communications, currently serving as the Assistant Communications Director for Digital Communications and Customer Outreach at the Arizona Department of Transportation since September 2012. In this role, Pacey acts as a spokesperson for the ADOT Motor Vehicle Division and manages proactive and reactive media relations. Prior experience includes positions as a Communications Project Manager for Traffic Safety Campaigns and Public Information Officer, where Pacey was involved in strategic communications planning and managed website content. Pacey began a career in journalism as a high school sports editor at The News Tribune and previously worked as a reporter at The Bellingham Herald. Pacey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from The University of Kansas, completed in 2002.
