Ryan Mitchell

Ryan Mitchell, RG, CPG, is an experienced hydrologist serving as the Chief Hydrologist and Assistant Director at the Arizona Department of Water Resources since July 2022. Prior to this role, Ryan held various positions at Tetra Tech from June 2018 to July 2022, including Southwest Regional Manager and Associate Hydrogeologist/Operations Manager. Ryan's career began at Clear Creek Associates as a Project Hydrogeologist from January 2011 to June 2018, and included roles as a Mineralogy/Lab Instructor at Arizona State University from August 2009 to January 2011 and as a Manager at E-Systems Management from February 2006 to August 2008. Ryan holds a Bachelor's degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences with a minor in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University and has also pursued education at Northern Arizona University.
