Kathleen Ritter has a diverse range of work experience in the field of sports media and communications. Kathleen started their career as a Communications Intern for the Chicago White Sox in 2020, where they gained experience in media relations. In 2021, Kathleen worked as a Communications Assistant for the Oakland Athletics, contributing to the team's communication efforts. Kathleen also served as a Copyeditor for Larson Newspapers, editing content for various publications and writing feature stories.

Kathleen joined the St. Louis Cardinals in 2019 as a Communications Gameday Associate, where they assisted in game day operations and media relations. Prior to this, they served as a Production Coordinator/PA for the Sedona International Film Festival, managing a crew and coordinating interviews with filmmakers and cast members. In 2018, Kathleen worked as a Media Credential and Communications Intern for the Tampa Bay Rays, gaining experience in media relations and communications.

During their time at Penn State, Kathleen had several roles in sports communications. Kathleen served as a Primary Contact for Penn State Women's Tennis, producing content and managing social media accounts. Kathleen also worked as a Penn State Athletics Strategic Communications Student Assistant, assisting with various sports and tasks such as compiling statistics and collecting postgame quotes.

Additionally, Kathleen has mentored incoming Penn State freshmen as part of the Penn State Alumni Association FastStart program. Currently, they hold the position of Player & Media Relations Coordinator for the Arizona Diamondbacks, where they continue to contribute to media relations and communication efforts.

Kathleen Ritter completed their formal education with a Master's degree in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown University, which they pursued from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism with a sports concentration from Penn State University, attending from 2013 to 2017. Kathleen's education journey began at Sedona Red Rock High School, where they completed their secondary education from 2009 to 2013.
