Matt Moran

Matt Moran is an experienced educator currently serving as a Government & Economics Instructor at Rancho Solano Preparatory School since September 2023. From May 2023, Matt also holds the position of Event Security Officer for the Arizona Diamondbacks, ensuring physical security and crowd management at Chase Field. Previously, Matt had a distinguished career in academic leadership, including roles such as Head of School at BASIS Peoria and Director of Student Affairs at BASIS Phoenix. Other notable positions include Director of Academic Programs at BASIS Phoenix Central and BASIS Goodyear, and co-chair of the History Department at Rancho Solano Preparatory School. Matt began a teaching career in history at Holy Angels Academy in Buffalo, NY, and later at Verde Valley School. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Buffalo State University, earned between 1990 and 1995.
