Shane Philipps

Shane Philipps has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Shane is currently working at the Arizona Diamondbacks since 2021, where they serve as the Manager of Player & Media Relations. Prior to that, they worked as the Communications Manager for the same organization from 2021 to 2022.

Before joining the Diamondbacks, Shane worked for the Amarillo Sod Poodles Baseball team as the Director of Public Relations and Baseball Operations from 2018 to 2021. Shane also held the position of Director of Public Relations at the Colorado Springs Sky Sox from 2017 to 2018.

Shane gained experience in the sports industry as the Communications Coordinator for the Reno Aces Baseball Club in 2017. Shane worked as the Public Relations and Digital Media Manager for the High Desert Mavericks, a Class-A Advanced Affiliate of the Texas Rangers, from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, they served as the Non-Profit Partnerships Coordinator at Hendrick & Co. from 2014 to 2015.

Apart from their roles in the sports industry, Shane has worked in other fields as well. Shane worked as a Technical Recruiter at Workbridge Associates in 2014 and as a Customer Relations Representative at ALEKS Corporation from 2013 to 2014. Shane also has experience in the retail sector, having worked as a Partner at Starbucks Coffee Company from 2012 to 2013, where they were recognized for their sales achievements. Shane also interned as a Public Relations Intern at Hendrick Boards in 2012.

Shane Philipps has a diverse education history. From 2008 to 2010, they attended Palomar College, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities. During this time, they also pursued an Associate's Degree in Arts and Humanities, Social and Behavioral Sciences. Following this, from 2010 to 2012, Shane studied at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona. Shane earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Communication- Public Relations, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Public Relations.
