Katie Jones

Katie Jones has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Katie is currently working as the Assistant Director of Digital Content at Arizona PBS since January 2022. In this role, they manage website content, a team of student workers, and the Arizona PBS Insider newsletter.

Prior to their current position, Katie worked as an Associate Editor at Arizona PBS from April 2014 to January 2022. Here, they managed the Arizona PBS magazine, overseeing freelancers and students who contributed stories, and they also wrote extensively for the publication.

Before joining Arizona PBS, Katie worked as an Editor/Writer at NYSE Governance Services, Corpedia from January 2011 to April 2014. In this role, they were responsible for writing and editing custom codes of conduct and reports, as well as compiling a news digest on a weekly basis.

From June 2008 to December 2010, Katie worked as a Freelance writer/editor, taking on freelance work for Collinson Publishing's VacationPlanning.net and Cummings Engineering based in Chandler.

In the early years of their career, Katie worked as an Editorial Assistant at the New England Journal of Medicine from October 2007 to May 2008. Katie also gained experience as an Editorial Intern at the University Press of Florida in July and August 2006.

Furthermore, Katie worked as a Consultant at the Center for Collaborative Learning and Communication at Furman University from September 2003 to May 2006. Additionally, they had an editorial internship at Cobblestone Publishing in June and August 2005.

Through their varied work experience, Katie has demonstrated their expertise in digital content management, editing, writing, and overseeing publications.

Katie Jones completed their undergraduate education at Furman University from 2002 to 2006. Katie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, majoring in English. Following their undergraduate studies, from 2006 to 2008, Katie pursued a Master's degree at Emerson College. Katie obtained a Master of Arts degree in the field of Writing & Publishing.
