Tia Perkin has extensive work experience in graphic design, with roles in various organizations. Tia currently serves as an Art Director for Arizona PBS starting in July 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Interaction Designer at Arizona PBS from August 2022 to June 2023. Tia also held the position of Graphic Designer PRN at Arizona PBS from January 2022 to July 2022. In addition, Tia worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer, Illustrator, and Animator at Thattiagirl Design Shop since January 2004. Tia was a Graphic Designer at Mesa Community College from March 2020 to May 2022 and at Chandler/Gilbert Community College from May 2014 to February 2017. Tia also worked as a Graphic Designer PRN at Arizona PBS from June 2013 to October 2016. Tia'searlier experience includes being a Media Tech II at Bally Technologies from February 2011 to September 2012, a Graphic Designer Principal at Eight, Arizona PBS from September 2002 to March 2011, and a Graphic Designer/Flash Actionscriptor at Technology Based Learning and Research at ASU from June 2003 to February 2004. Tia started their career as a Graphics Lab Aide at Arizona State University, where they also worked as a Prepress Apprentice at Fabe Litho Ltd.
Tia Perkin pursued their education from 2000 to 2014 at Arizona State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a focus on Intermedia/Multimedia.
