Kathryn Leonard is a professional with extensive experience in historic preservation and cultural resource management. Currently serving as the Arizona State Historic Preservation Officer at Arizona State Parks and Trails since September 2016, Kathryn previously held the position of Director of Operations at North Wind Group, where responsibilities included launching the Phoenix office. Kathryn's earlier experience includes a role as Director of Cultural Resources at Logan Simpson Design, overseeing a large team and managing significant project revenues, and serving as the National Register Coordinator at the Arizona State Historic Preservation Office. Kathryn holds Master's degrees in History and Anthropology from Arizona State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Vassar College.
