Michelle Sullivan Govani

Michelle Sullivan Govani currently serves as the Director of the Moonshot Accelerator at the ASU Foundation for A New American University since May 2022. Prior to this role, Michelle held multiple positions at the Office of Applied Innovation at Arizona State University from July 2019 to May 2022, including Sr. Director of Strategy and Partnerships and Director of Strategy and Partnerships, focusing on research, analysis, project management, and relationship building to inform university leadership. Michelle's earlier experience at Arizona State University from January 2015 to May 2019 involved roles such as Program Coordinator, Co-Instructor, and Graduate Teaching Assistant, contributing to curriculum development, event programming, and classroom management across various courses related to sustainability, science, and ethics. Michelle earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master of Science (MSc) in Biology and Society from Arizona State University, along with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biology/Biological Sciences and Dance from the University of Iowa.
