Samuel Lowry has a diverse work experience in the arts and fundraising sectors. Samuel most recently worked as an Associate Director of Development for the ASU Foundation for A New American University, where they played a key role in meeting the annual fundraising goal of $30M+. Prior to that, they served as an Assistant Director of Development for the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.

Samuel also worked at the Arizona Opera Company as an Associate Director of Development, where they doubled the company's institutional portfolio and secured over $1.4M in support. Samuel started their career at the Sarasota Opera, initially as the Director of Audience Development and later as a Communications Officer and Executive Assistant to the Executive Director. Samuel was responsible for expanding the opera's reach through marketing and public relations efforts, as well as organizing educational and outreach initiatives.

Before joining the nonprofit sector, Samuel was the Marketing and Development Manager for the InterSchool Orchestras of New York, overseeing their marketing efforts and negotiating contracts with concert venues. Samuel also had a successful career as an opera singer, performing as a soloist.

In 2009, they gained experience in the production side of the arts industry as a Production Intern at the Seattle Opera.
