Lucian Spataro

Lucian Spataro is an accomplished academic and executive with extensive experience in civics education and organizational leadership. Currently serving as Director and Senior Fellow at the Arizona State University Center for Political Thought and Leadership, Lucian engages in the development of curricular projects and collaborates on initiatives to enhance civics education funded by a grant from the National Endowment for Humanities and the US Department of Education. Previously, Lucian held multiple leadership roles, including Chief Academic Officer and CEO at the Joe Foss Institute, where efforts focused on integrating civics into K-12 education, and various operational positions across companies like Edgenuity Inc. and Redcat Racing. Education credentials include a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Science in Business and Public Administration from the University of Arizona.
