Michael Anderson

Michael Anderson currently serves as the AVP of Enterprise Risk and Resilience Management at Arizona State University since January 2023, leading comprehensive risk management and business continuity functions across the campus system. In addition, Michael operates a legal practice specializing in criminal, civil, and administrative law with a focus on complex legal issues such as fraud and human trafficking since September 2022. Prior experience includes a five-year tenure as General Manager of Enterprise Security for Arizona Public Service and over two decades with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where roles included Special Agent in Charge in Chicago and Louisiana, as well as various leadership positions in the Criminal Investigative Division. Michael holds a Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Iowa.
