Ruben Alonzo

Ruben Alonzo is an experienced professional in community and municipal relations, currently serving as the Executive Director at Arizona State University since January 2017. Prior to this role, Ruben held significant positions in the City of Phoenix, where responsibilities included serving as Chief of Staff for Operations under Mayor Greg Stanton from January 2012 to December 2016. Ruben's campaign management experience includes leading efforts for Stanton for Mayor and Jon Hulburd for Congress. Additionally, Ruben worked as a Senior Policy Advisor and Legislative Liaison at the Arizona Attorney General's Office from December 2006 to December 2009. Ruben earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Government from Arizona State University, completing studies in 2005.
