Sherine Gabriel currently serves as the Executive Vice President for ASU Health and holds the title of University Professor of the Future of Health Outcomes and Medicine at Arizona State University since August 2022. Additionally, Sherine Gabriel is a board member of OnlineMedEd and a member of the Women Business Leaders of the U.S. Health Care Industry Foundation. From 2019 to 2023, Sherine Gabriel was the President of Rush University and Chief Academic Officer of Rush University System for Health. A distinguished academic, Sherine Gabriel was Dean and Professor at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School from 2015 to 2023 and held various roles at Mayo Clinic from 1988 to 2015, including Professor of Medicine and Dean of Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. Sherine Gabriel's educational background includes degrees in Medicine and Epidemiology from institutions such as the University of Saskatchewan and McMaster University.
