Samuel Thiry

Samuel Thiry is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO at ARK Capture Solutions since May 2024, Samuel previously held the position of Vice President Proposal - Hydrogen and Senior Project Manager - Hydrogen at John Cockerill from August 2022 to May 2024. Prior to that, Samuel was Chief Operating Officer at Memoco, overseeing project production and maintenance, as well as business development with key partnerships. Samuel's career at TotalEnergies spanned nearly a decade, during which significant roles included Strategy - Business Intelligence & Market Analyst, Energy Site Manager, Plant Operation Manager, and Process Engineer. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanics & Electricity from École polytechnique de Louvain, complemented by participation in the Total Management Program.
