Elin Bäcklund

Elin Bäcklund has been working in the tech industry since 2012. Elin began their career as a Software Development Teacher at Lund University in 2012, followed by an Internship as a Software Developer at Ericsson in 2015. In the same year, they also completed a Master's Thesis at Scania and worked as a Co-Founder for openhack - coding for humanity. In 2016, they worked as a Consultant at Netlight and a Full Stack Developer (Consultant) at SVT. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at EQT Group in various roles, including Deal Engine Lead & Motherbrain Lead, Tech Product Manager, and Full Stack Engineer. Most recently, they have been working as the Chief Technology Officer at Ark Kapital since 2021.

Elin Bäcklund has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a High School diploma from Hersby Gymnasium. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from various institutions, including a Coastal Yachtmaster Diploma from NFB in November 2019, an Open Water Diver certification from Scuba Schools International in October 2017, a Jägarexamen from The Association for Hunting and Wildlife Management in September 2008, and a Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) certification from the University of Cambridge.
