Kate Blanchfield

Kate Blanchfield has worked in the tech industry since 2015. Kate started as a Web Editor at SIPRI in 2015, then attended a coding bootcamp at Technigo in 2018. In 2019, they joined Instabox as a Software Engineer and Tech Lead for the Geospatial team. In 2020, they began working as a Code Mentor at Pink Programming, and is currently a Software Engineer at Ark Kapital.

Kate Blanchfield completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics at Stockholm University from 2010 to 2015. Kate then completed a course in Front-end web development at Technigo from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Physics from the University of Bristol from 2004 to 2008.
