Marla M. Matthews

Marla M. Matthews is an experienced executive assistant with a strong background in administrative support across various organizations. Currently serving as Executive Assistant at the Ark-Tex Council of Governments since June 2021, Marla is responsible for coordinating meetings, managing the Zoom account, transcribing minutes, and handling various databases and communications. Previous roles include Executive Assistant to the Chancellor at the University of Arkansas Hope - Texarkana, and diverse positions in human resources and administration at several other institutions. Marla holds an Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas Hope - Texarkana and a Technical Certificate in Business Technology/Secretarial Science from Red River Technical College.
