Arkansas Arts Academy
Rebecca Funderburg is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teacher for World History, AP World History, and Civics at Arkansas Arts Academy since August 2020. Prior to this role, Rebecca held the position of Office Manager at the University of Arkansas from August 2017 to August 2020 and served as Administrative Assistant III at Arkansas State University from February 2016 to August 2017, where responsibilities included faculty development and LMS training. Earlier experience includes a Graduate Assistantship at Arkansas State University from June 2013 to December 2015 and operations management at Candlewood Suites in Conway, Arkansas, from December 2006 to August 2012. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Global History from Arkansas State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Central Arkansas, along with a certificate in Beginner I Arabic from Qalam Wa Lawh in Rabat, Morocco.

The Arkansas Arts Academy is a public charter school offering fine arts education to K-12 students. Located in Rogers, we are the second oldest and one of the largest charter schools in the state. Our mission is to provide a rigorous academic program with a purposed integration of the arts. We challenge our students academically while providing them with an arts enhanced curriculum.
