David Martin

David Martin serves as vice president of information technology at Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Martin leads a team of technologists who provide infrastructure and support services to the enterprise and its members. Martin’s area of responsibility includes setting the strategic direction for the company’s data center operations, cloud computing and print mail. Martin is also tasked with leading a number of digital transformation initiatives focused on an improved member experience and delivery of the company’s digital platform. Before joining Arkansas Blue Cross he served as vice president for Converge One (C1). C1 provides IT hardware, managed services and technology consulting for enterprise and Fortune 500 clients in both the U.S. and Europe. Prior to joining C1, Martin served as senior vice president and chief marketing officer for First72 Cyber where he led consulting efforts for the top 10 law firms in the country. Martin began his career in technology with Alltel Communications in 1997. Martin holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas.
