Cody Spencer

Cody Spencer has a diverse work experience in the education and mental health sectors. Cody currently serves as the Middle School Principal at Arkansas City Public Schools since June 2023. Prior to this, they were the Assistant Principal at St. Mary's Colgan Catholic schools from August 2020 to September 2023. Cody also has experience as a High School Teacher, having worked at Seneca High School from August 2016 to August 2020, and at Baxter Springs Public Schools from May 2015 to May 2016. Additionally, they worked as an Adolescent Psychosocial Rehabilitation Facilitator at Spring River Mental Health & Wellness, Inc. from August 2011 to July 2014.

Cody Spencer holds a Bachelor's degree in History from Pittsburg State University, obtained from 2011 to 2014. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General at Emporia State University from 2015 to 2018. From 2020 to 2022, Cody completed an Education Specialist degree in General School Administration (EdS) from Pittsburg State University. Presently, they are enrolled in William Woods University, working towards a Doctor of Education - EdD in Educational Leadership and Administration, General.
