Michael Massery

Michael Massery has over a decade of experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Manager of Portfolio Optimization at Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation since July 2011. Previous roles at the organization include Engineer III in Market Operations Support and Market Operations Engineer, where responsibilities focused on technical operational support, risk mitigation, and resource modeling. Additionally, Michael has expertise in instrumentation and control engineering, having managed projects related to market transitions and improved operational strategies. Earlier internships at NASA Stennis Space Center and Southwest Power Pool provided valuable experience in data acquisition, noise detection algorithms, and transmission modeling. Michael holds a Master's Degree in Engineering Management from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Arkansas Tech University.
