Steve Eddington has extensive work experience in various communication and leadership roles. Currently, they are a Member of the Board of Trustees at Arkansas State University System. Previously, Steve held positions such as Vice President of Public Relations at Arkansas Farm Bureau Federation, Vice President of Executive Communication at Alltel Information Services, and Director of Corporate Communications at Alltel Corp. Steve also served as the Communications Manager and Public Relations Supervisor at Alltel Information Services. Before that, Steve worked as a Communications Coordinator at Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield and as a Sports Information Director at Henderson State University. Steve began their career as a Sportswriter at Arkansas Democrat and later served as the Sports Editor at Arkadelphia Daily Siftings Herald.
Steve Eddington earned a BA degree in Journalism from Henderson State University, where they studied from 1980 to 1984. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where they obtained an MA degree in Journalism after studying from 1990 to 1997.

Arkansas Farm Bureau Federation (ArFB) is a nonprofit, grassroots organization dedicated to agricultural advocacy. ArFB represents the interests of farmers and rural communities throughout the state of Arkansas through policy development, lobbying and other programs. The mission of Arkansas Farm Bureau: • Advocate the interests of agriculture in the public arena; • Disseminate information concerning the value and importance of agriculture; and • Provide products and services which improve the quality of life for its members. Farm Bureau is an independent, voluntary organization of farm and ranch families united for the purpose of analyzing their problems and formulating action to achieve educational improvement, economic opportunity, social advancement and promote the national well-being. Farm Bureau is county, state, national and international in its scope and influence. Farm Bureau is nonpartisan, nonsectarian, nongovernmental and nonsecret in character. Farm Bureau strives to be the voice of agricultural producers at all levels.
