Alexandr M. Sokolov

Alexandr M. Sokolov, Ph.D., M.B.A. has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Alexandr M. is currently the Director of Engineering Management and Construction Management at Arkansas State University, where they serve as the Program Director for both programs and teaches courses in these fields. Alexandr M. also advises and mentors students and serves on various committees. In addition, they are a Co-Curricular Retention Analysis Assessment Fellow at the university, where they collaborate with committees to develop statistical models and presents survey analyses.

Apart from their work in academia, Sokolov has held executive positions in several companies. Alexandr M. was the President and CEO of Business Enterprise Solution Technologies, where they managed all aspects of the company's operations. Alexandr M. also served as the President and CEO of Runz Technologies and the Chief Executive Officer of The PMO Group, overseeing financial activities and day-to-day operations in both organizations.

Earlier in their career, Sokolov worked as an Adjunct Faculty of Engineering Information and Technology at Chattanooga State Community College, teaching various engineering courses. Alexandr M. also held the position of Visiting Assistant Professor of Engineering Management & Technology at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where they coordinated undergraduate and graduate programs.

Sokolov's experience extends to the fields of strategic analytics and market analysis. Alexandr M. served as the Manager of Strategic Analytics at Covenant Solutions, where they remained informed about industry trends and facilitated process improvements. Alexandr M. also worked as the Manager of Market Analysis at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, leading projects and researching market sectors.

Before transitioning into leadership roles, Sokolov gained experience as a Business Development Manager & Sales Analyst at nCrowd, Inc., where they managed business relations and coordinated sales schedules. Alexandr M. also worked as a Financial & Accounting Analyst at the same company, organizing cash flow and conducting forensic accounting.

Alexandr M. Sokolov, Ph.D., M.B.A. obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Industrial Systems Engineering and Engineering Management from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, from 2014 to 2019. Alexandr M. also holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance from Lincoln Memorial University, completed from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Microbiology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, graduating between 2006 and 2011. In addition to their academic achievements, Sokolov has obtained several certifications related to engineering management, hazardous materials transportation, and first aid/CPR.
