Karen Wheeler

Karen Wheeler is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in higher education administration. Currently serving as the Sr. Associate Vice Chancellor at Arkansas State University since August 2016, Karen also operates as an Independent Contractor specializing in higher education consulting since 2008. Prior roles include Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock and Associate Director at the Arkansas Department of Higher Education. Additionally, Karen has held leadership positions such as Chair of the Tobacco Settlement Commission and Vice President at the University of Arkansas Community College-Batesville.
