Mike Wagner

Mike Wagner serves as the Director of Football Operations at Texas State University since July 2024, with prior experience as the Assistant Director of Football Operations at Arkansas State University and a Travel Coordinator for Texas State University's Athletics Department. With a robust background in sports management, Mike has effectively managed a $3,000,000 travel budget, coordinated logistics for over 400 student-athletes and numerous coaching and administrative staff, and implemented efficiency improvements in travel processing. Previous roles include Event Coordinator at the Arizona Sports and Entertainment Commission, where Mike organized major Olympic sport events, and Director of Team Services for the NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl, overseeing team operations and logistics. An alumnus of Arizona State University with a B.A. in Business, specializing in Sports and Media Studies, Mike has demonstrated strong leadership and organizational skills throughout a diverse career in athletics.
