James Wilks

James Wilks has extensive work experience in the field of community living services. James started their career in 1992 as a Residential Day Treatment Supervisor at Ozark Guidance Center, where they developed education goals for residents and worked closely with families to create positive relationships. In 1995, they joined Arkansas Support Network as a Program Manager, where they managed documentation systems, coordinated hours and training for employees, and operated a document scanner. In 2013, they became the Lead Division Manager at the same organization, overseeing teams and ensuring the provision of quality services. Finally, in 2014, they took on the role of Community Living Services Director, where they managed staff and services for assigned individuals in the SL section of the Community Living Division.

James Wilks attended the University of the Ozarks from 1984 to 1988 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education.
