Michael Lauro

Michael Lauro has extensive experience in both the legal and information technology sectors, currently serving as the Information Technology Manager at Arkansas Teacher Retirement System since May 2014 and as an attorney at Lauro Law, PLLC since September 2009. In addition to legal work, Michael is a certified Table Tennis coach, holding the position of Head Coach and Director at the Arkansas Table Tennis Academy, a non-profit organization established in 2018. Michael has achieved ITTF Level 3 Certification and has served as a USA Hopes Youth Camp Assistant Coach, recognized as the 2018 Volunteer Coach of the Year. Prior to these roles, Michael was the President and Software Developer at Barrier Peak Company from 2002 to 2014 and worked as an Information Technology Specialist at IBM from 1995 to 2002. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the same institution.
