Umut Arican

Umut Arıcan serves as the Digital Transformation Director for the Maritime Group at Arkas Line, where a career has spanned from October 2012 to the present, with various roles including ARMA Project Manager and Business & Project Senior Manager. Prior experience includes serving as an Oceangoing Watchkeeping Officer at YASA Hold and co-founding Ekinoks Elektronik Oyl. Sist. Further background includes leading projects at Eloysis Elektronik Oyl. Sist. Education encompasses a Doctor of Philosophy in Maritime Studies from Istanbul Technical University, as well as a Master’s Degree in Maritime Transportation Engineering and a degree in Industrial Engineering from the same institution, along with a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Turkish Naval Academy.
