Beatriz Mendez

Beatriz Mendez has over 18 years of work experience in various procurement and sourcing roles. Beatriz started their career in 2003 as the European Sourcing Manager at Groupe Renault, where they worked until 2005. Beatriz then joined Renault as a Global Supplier Account Manager, responsible for managing over 200 industrial purchasing families. In 2007, they moved to Lafarge, where they served as the Strategic Sourcing Director and later as the CPO France. In 2013, they joined GE Power Conversion as the Executive Sourcing, Logistics & Supplier Quality Director. Most recently, Beatriz Mendez worked at Arkema, where they held the position of Chief Procurement Officer - Goods & Services before becoming the Business Unit Global President of Molecular Sieves & FEBEX in April 2021.

Beatriz Mendez has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne. Additionally, they hold a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree from IFP School and another Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
