Magdalena Doherty

Magdalena Doherty is an experienced executive in the chemical industry, currently serving as Vice President of Commercial Excellence at Arkema since October 2022. Prior roles include General Manager at Sartomer Europe – Arkema Group from January 2019 to October 2022, and Vice President at Calgon Carbon Corporation from November 2016 to July 2018, overseeing the Wood Activated Carbons and Diatomaceous Earth business units. Prior to that, Magdalena held the position of General Manager at CECA – Arkema Group from May 2011 to October 2016 and served as Global Purchasing Director at Cray Valley from January 2005 to May 2011, where responsibilities included strategic purchasing for the resin division. Magdalena holds an engineering degree in Chemistry from CPE Lyon, earned between 1989 and 1993.
