Michael Chance

Michael Chance possesses extensive experience in chemistry and materials science. Currently serving as Plant Labs Manager at Arkema since June 2017, Michael has held various roles including Process and Analyzer Chemist and Senior Chemist, Lab Supervisor. Prior to Arkema, Michael worked as a Wigner Fellow at Oak Ridge National Laboratory from September 2014 to October 2016, focusing on the synthesis and properties of novel materials, particularly phosphors and scintillators. Michael's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of South Carolina, completed in 2013, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Murray State University, obtained in 2007.
