Simon Rittmann

Simon Rittmann's work experience includes being the Co-Founder and CSO at Arkeon Biotechnologies since August 2021. Prior to that, they were a Principal Investigator and Head of the Archaea Physiology & Biotechnology Group at Universität Wien starting from January 2017. Simon also worked as a Universitätsassistent at Universität Wien from January 2014 to December 2016. Before that, Simon was a Post Doc and Biomethanation Specialist at Krajete GmbH from December 2012 to December 2013. Simon obtained their Doctorate in the Biochemical Engineering Department at Technische Universität Wien from October 2009 to November 2012. Simon started their career as a Researcher at Intercell AG in the Molecular Microbiology Department from February 2007 to April 2009. Prior to that, they worked as a Researcher at the Institute of Applied Microbiology at Universität für Bodenkultur Wien from January 2006 to November 2006.
