Gabby Sarusi

Gabby Sarusi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. In 1984, they worked as a Research Fellow at BGU - Ben-Gurion University. Gabby then worked as an R&D Engineer at Microelectronics Ltd from 1985 to 1986. Sarusi later became a Researcher at Soreq NRC from 1986 to 1992. Gabby then joined AT&T Bell Labs as a Member of the technical staff from 1992 to 1994 and worked briefly as a Researcher at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in 1994. In 1995, Sarusi became a Programs Manager at ELOP, where they were responsible for the development, marketing, and sales of second-generation IR systems. Gabby later served as the Products Line Director, Vice President, Chief Scientist, and Vice President, Head of Air and Space Imagery Intelligence Division at ELOP. From 2011 to 2012, Sarusi held the position of Vice President, R&D Programs and CTO at ELOP. Gabby also served on the Board of Directors at IAI - Israel Aerospace Industries from 2014 to 2017. In 2012, Sarusi became a Professor at Ben Gurion University. Finally, in 2015, they co-founded TechSee and currently holds the role of Co-Founder and Chief Scientist. Overall, Sarusi's work experience showcases their expertise in research, development, leadership, and entrepreneurship.

Gabby Sarusi has an extensive education history. In 1981, they enrolled at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they pursued a double Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering and Material Science. Gabby completed their undergraduate studies in 1985.

After completing their bachelor's degree, Gabby Sarusi joined Tel Aviv University in 1986 to pursue a Master of Science degree in Physical Electronics. Their studies in this field lasted for one year, and they graduated in 1987.

Building upon their master's degree, Sarusi continued their education at Tel Aviv University, where they embarked on a Ph.D. program in Electrical Engineering in 1988. Gabby spent four years conducting research and furthering their knowledge in this field, ultimately earning their Ph.D. degree in 1992.

Following the completion of their doctoral studies, Sarusi sought additional academic and professional development opportunities. From 1992 to 1994, they joined AT&T Bell Labs, where they engaged in post-doctoral research in Quantum Structures and QWIP (Quantum Well Infrared Photodetectors). During this time, they also pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

In 2000, Gabby Sarusi decided to further enhance their business knowledge and enrolled at Tel Aviv University once again. This time, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Executive MBA, which they completed in 2001.
