Vince Alvarez

Vince Alvarez has a long and varied work experience. From 2004 to 2008, they worked as an Asset Protection Specialist at Apple Inc., Corporate Retail Division. During this same period, they were also a Debate Mentor at the Bay Area Urban Debate League and a Volunteer Instructor at Patten University. From 2008 to 2010, they were an Adjunct Professor, Policy Debate Coach, and Instructional Assistant at San Francisco State University. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Communication Strategist/Community Manager for various VC-backed/accelerated companies. From 2013 to 2019, they were a Project Coordinator for Speech and Debate at Dipont Education. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Strategic Procurement Engineer (Laboratory Diagnostics) at Siemens Healthineers. Currently, they are a Senior Business Implementation Consultant at Arkestro.

Vince Alvarez obtained a B.A. in Communication Studies from San Francisco State University in 2008, followed by an M.A. in Communication Studies from the same institution in 2010. In February 2022, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
