Barney Quinn

Barney has over 30 years’ experience with technology, software and latterly cloud-based companies. For 13 years, Barney was a main board director of Sherwood International plc, a provider of software and services to the insurance industry. He was also CEO of Workplace Systems International plc an early provider of cloud-based workforce management software which was Aim listed and which he took private with the help of Lloyds Development Capital.

These major software companies had great success in North America and internationally.

Today Barney is currently in the public company world Non-Executive Chairman of Clearstar Inc., which is AIM listed and is based in Atlanta which provides background screening services. He also a Non-Executive Director of Aim listed Rosslyn Data Technologies.

In the Private Equity world, he is Non-Executive Chairman of Oxehealth a health technology provider. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Concirrus in the insurance software space.

Other interests include Gotus Consultancy which advises companies on how to expand internationally, Voyage Brand & Communications, a creative company, and Parago Software which specialises in asset management software for the education sector.
