Kate Butler

Kate Butler has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Kate began their career as a Maths Teacher at Teach First from July 2009 to August 2011. Following this, they joined PwC UK as an Assurance Senior Associate from April 2012 to September 2015. In 2015, they joined Ark as a Finance Manager and later became the Head of Finance for Ark and Ventures from August 2018 to October 2021. Currently, they are working as the Regional Finance Director at Ark since November 2021.

Kate Butler received their BSc in Mathematics and Music from the University of Leeds in 2008. Kate then pursued a MA in Education with a focus on PGCE at The University of Manchester from 2009 to 2012. Finally, from 2012 to 2015, they attended ICAEW to obtain their ACA qualification as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant.
